Ecommerce SOS was started by senior engineers who spent a decade patching stores at 2am the night before Black Friday. We built the team we wished we could have called.

We started Ecommerce SOS after fifteen years of freelance calls that started the same way: "the site is broken, we're losing money, how fast can you look." Every time it was the same pattern. A store owner had wired together plugins, a designer, a marketer, and a cousin who "knows Shopify." When it broke, no one had ownership.

So we built a small team that takes ownership. Engineers who have shipped WooCommerce and Magento since before either had a checkout you'd trust. Every retainer runs on the same four principles. If they don't fit how you want to work, we'll say so on the first call.

Diagnose first, invoice later.

Before we quote anything, we triage your store. Free. If we don't see a clear ROI on retaining us, we'll tell you what to do yourself and walk away.

One team. One channel. One bill.

You don't juggle a developer, an SEO, an ad agency and an automation vendor. One Slack channel, one weekly report, one monthly invoice.

Ship weekly. Report monthly.

Something visible goes live every week. A page. A flow. A fix. A campaign. If a month passes with nothing shipped, we've failed — and you get the month back.

Cancel any month.

No 12-month contracts. No cancellation fee. If we're not earning the retainer, you should be able to end it the same afternoon.

DISPATCH PROTOCOL

From your first email to shipping fixes.

Every store follows the same intake protocol. It takes about seven days from your first email to the first shipped fix.

STEP 01 · DAY 0

Intake & triage call

You send store URL + a rough brief. We spend 30 minutes on a call, then 3 hours in your admin. You get a written triage: what's broken, what's leaking, what to fix in what order.

STEP 02 · DAY 1–2

Access audit & environment setup

We inventory your stack, users, third-party integrations, and payment vendors. We set up staging, monitoring, and error tracking — whether your previous team did or didn't.

STEP 03 · DAY 3

First-week emergency package

Whatever is bleeding revenue gets patched first. Broken checkout, payment errors, catastrophic UX — every retainer gets emergency dispatch built into the first week, on us.

STEP 04 · DAY 4–7

Roadmap & sprint plan

We draft a 30/60/90 day roadmap. Fixes, features, SEO wins, automation, campaigns. You approve. We ship.

STEP 05 · WEEKLY

Ship, measure, report

Every week: what shipped, what moved, what's queued. Every month: a scorecard against agreed KPIs. Every quarter: strategic review with the founding team.
